Description

Description

This fabulous bike route offers decent mileage with some elevation and a great prize - a lot of insights into local history and customs and above all, a swim in the lake with a view of wonderful Visovac island.

Visovac Lake is one of the most fascinating habitats of the National Park Krka. It is home to a preglacial sort of trout and diverse bird species.

Visovac Island, with lavish trees and gardens where peacocks walk freely and a medieval church and Franciscan monastery that houses the first print of Aesop’s fables, is a home of serenity.

Just a short boat drive away, we spend 45 min exploring the island's lush greenery and museum.

Upon our return to the mainland, there is enough time to swim, enjoy a picnic, and appreciate the scenic beauty of the lake.

Our comfy Cube bikes will then take us back to Skradin, our starting point, where exhausted but happy you can take a nap after sending your friends amazing photos from Visovac Lake.
