Description

Description

Roški waterfall is another beautiful part of the National Park Krka. A stunning view of this specific waterfall form locally called “necklace” is offered from a 50 m high cliff, on the way up to a prehistoric cave, after climbing some 500 steps.

The strength of the water was for centuries used for grinding wheat and corn. The remaining mills are a part of a small ethnological exhibition and a perfect background for the family buffets where we’ll taste exquisite pršut and cheese, produced by local families.

A cave, way above the waterfall, inhabited in prehistoric times, is a rare opportunity to learn in situ about the time Europe was a habitat of mammoths.

Together with an exciting 50 km long bike trail, this tour is the one you’ll want to repeat.
